Just wanted to say a special “Thank you” to everyone for their help and cooperation last week for our Read Across America activities!

The Ed Foundation and The Home and School Association for funding our Author Day with Daryl Cobb.

Pastor Jim and Pastor Rick for the use of the Assembly of God Church and for helping us set up for the Author’s Lunch.

Diane Rounsaville for her technology expertise for our Author Day and Movie Day and also for all her help with book selection for our week of reading.

Janay Revis for inviting and confirming all of our Community Readers.

Nicole McCarter and the PRIDE Committee for securing funds for food, paper products and gifts for our Community Readers.

Mr. Joe McConnell and Cindy for donating books and stuffed animals for the lunch time raffle.

Kathy Stanton and her merry band of 3rd graders for hanging all of our Dr. Seuss posters throughout the school.

Heather Doering for taking off with our Meatball cook-off party.

Carol Coulther for helping with many last minute details and helping with our Community Readers.

Sally Ascoli for her help with the newsletter and book orders.

Karen Fitzgerald for providing special lunches of eggs and ham and fish sticks for Pirate Day.

Janet Basile, Cindy O’Brien, and Mike Leahey for coordinating activities for Thomas Jefferson School and choosing our 8th Grade Readers and our 7th and 8th Grade Writers.

Kim Stockstill for organizing an emergency call plan for our Community Readers in the event of bad weather.
